My Dear Global Netizens,

Just a week ago i asked a question on Linkedin “How to Empower Rural India and Ensure, Inclusive Growth?”

you may please share your views at above give link.

I have been thinking and thinking a lot on this matter, and yesterday night I recieved some ideas, from somewhere that makes the matter fairly Easy to tackle and It has great amounts of advantages while going about Empowering Rural Communities..

I thought, how ? as a Private corporation we can Empower Rural India, while ensuring Satisfaction, very less resistance, and doing a real good work… the answers stunned me..

The core of the problem lies with the way the Gram-Panchayats, (Village-govt.) and National Govt. operates on a Micro and Macro level…

What happens when People are taxed? items are taxed? services and products are taxed?

The money travels from an individual who earned it with hard work, through various departments of tehsil, districts and state levels and finally makes it to the National Treasury…

Then while govt. releases funds for developmental works and infra projects and health care or education projects, the same money passes through various ministerial levels through number of paperworks and Pocket-filling and the funds are gradually eaten up by various monster actively wanting to fill up their bullies,  and finally when it reaches to that project manager or individual or an NGO, it’s not the money in the same amount and size that was sent down from the highest levels, but it’s a very tiny part of it… in most cases, this money remains same in size but the individual or the project owner has to pay various forms or fees and bribes in order to get that check signed and delivered to him… and this is how it goes on and on and on…

I’m not saying the whole govt. is corrupt, but as a small drop of poison in a glass of milk, makes the whole glass poisonous, the same way even one single authority or lower level individual , who is part of the system if becomes and acts corrupt, it ends up spoiling the whole system…

Friends, this is dirty, bitter yet true reality of most parts of Democratic world and governments. by the way I support whatever information is exposed through Wikileaks, and types of operations..

so! how do we change the picture?

Cut the flow! get the money collected in Village “X” invested in the same Village “X” in minimum period of time.

Create and encourage leadership at micro-level… let them take care of their own taxed funds and development programmes, support them whenever and wherever necessary…

Create an Active Link between these Micro-Level-Leaders, and involve Rural Public to Plan and Execute the Projects…

This can be done! but i don’t think current day politics will allow it to happen…

there are people out there with vested interests who want to keep things rolling in the same manner as they are…

………. what do you say my friend? ……..

how can we make this happen?
